A Taste of Summer Simplicity: Sourdough Pizza with Burrata and Grilled Peaches
Is there anything more satisfying than a pizza that hits all the sweet, salty and creamy notes of summer? This Sourdough Pizza with Burrata and Grilled Peaches is our latest kitchen favorite. This recipe brings together the tang of sourdough, the richness and creaminess of burrata and the caramelized sweetness of ripe peaches.
Why We Love It:
Seasonal ingredients: Fresh peaches, rich in vitamin C, are at their peak in late summer. They also provide fiber for gut health and satiety.
Fermented crust: Sourdough offers a little boost of gut-friendly bacteria and a deep tangy flavor, which provides a good contrast to the sweetness of a fresh peach.
Leafy greens like arugula: Peppery and fresh, arugula provides vitamin K, and small amounts of folate and potassium.
Satisfying without being complicated: the Burrata’s creamy center balances the tart peaches and savory crust beautifully.
