• Partner with the owner to execute the strategic vision and lead the continued growth of Northern Nutrition Group into a comprehensive multidisciplinary nutrition clinic.

• Provide executive leadership for all clinical, operational, financial, and administrative functions of the organization.

• Develop and implement strategic initiatives, new service lines, community partnerships, and business opportunities that support sustainable organizational growth.

• Direct the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring efficient workflows, exceptional patient care, and achievement of organizational goals.

• Maintain a limited patient caseload while serving as the clinical leader and supporting evidence-based, weight-inclusive, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming care.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical policies, procedures, workflows, and standards of care that promote quality, consistency, and operational excellence.

• Provide clinical consultation, mentorship, and leadership to registered dietitians and support staff while fostering a collaborative, accountable, and inclusive workplace culture.

• Recruit, hire, onboard, supervise, coach, evaluate, and retain high-performing clinical and administrative staff.

• Oversee staffing, scheduling, productivity, and resource allocation to support efficient operations and exceptional patient outcomes.

• Lead weekly clinical meetings, regular staff meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives.

• Monitor clinical quality, patient outcomes, patient satisfaction, and quality improvement initiatives, implementing changes to continually improve services.

• Oversee billing operations, documentation standards, insurance processes, revenue cycle performance, and regulatory compliance to support financial sustainability.

• Develop and manage organizational budgets, monitor financial performance, analyze operational metrics, and make data-driven decisions that support long-term success.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, healthcare systems, referral partners, community organizations, employers, insurers, and other stakeholders to expand access to care and strengthen referral networks.

• Represent Northern Nutrition Group through community outreach, networking, marketing initiatives, professional organizations, and public engagement.

• Monitor healthcare trends, reimbursement changes, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices to identify opportunities and proactively adapt organizational strategy.

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, payer requirements, state and federal regulations, licensing standards, and organizational policies.

• Promote a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, accountability, and excellence while advancing the mission and long-term vision of Northern Nutrition Group.

• Perform other duties as needed to support the organization's mission, strategic priorities, and continued growth.

Required

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) in good standing.

• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Montana.

• Experience supervising clinical staff.

• Strong understanding of insurance reimbursement, outpatient operations, and healthcare compliance.

• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

• Experience leading multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

• Experience developing or expanding healthcare programs.

• Experience with business operations, budgeting, and financial management.

• Experience with strategic planning and organizational growth.

• Background in eating disorders, gastrointestinal nutrition, diabetes, or other specialty outpatient nutrition services.

• Experience with quality improvement initiatives and healthcare operations.

• Full-time, exempt leadership position based in Bozeman, Montana.

• Hybrid work environment with a combination of in-person clinical care, on-site and remote administrative work, and community engagement.

• Maintains a limited patient caseload while providing leadership across all areas of the organization.

• Reports directly to the Owner during a planned leadership transition, with increasing autonomy and responsibility over time.

• Provides direct supervision to registered dietitians, administrative staff, and multidisciplinary clinical team members.

• Collaborates with billing, administrative, and marketing team members to support organizational success.

• Works closely with healthcare providers, referral partners, community organizations, and other stakeholders to strengthen relationships and expand access to care.

• Requires the ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day operational leadership in a growing healthcare organization.

• Occasional evening or community events and limited travel may be required.

• Salary: $90,000–$120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
