Kaitlyn Schlangen, MS, RD, LN
Kaitlyn brings a strong background in clinical and outpatient nutrition to Northern Nutrition Group, with expertise in supporting individuals navigating eating disorders and gastrointestinal disorders. She approaches each appointment with a passion for helping individuals cultivate a healthier and more positive relationship with food.
With a focus on individualized and unbiased care, Kaitlyn practices from a weight-inclusive and anti-diet framework, recognizing that health is not one-size-fits-all and can be achieved in diverse body types. Her counseling approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to the unique needs of each individual, offering evidence-based guidance with both empathy and expertise.
Kaitlyn specializes in: Eating disorders, disordered eating patterns, gastrointestinal (GI) disorders and diseases. She is dedicated to supporting individuals across all spectrums of these challenges.
Kaitlyn sees clients in-person in Bozeman and virtually throughout Montana.
Education and Work History
Kaitlyn earned her degree in dietetics from Montana State University (MSU) and completed her postgraduate dietetic training through the Montana Dietetic Internship (MDI) program in 2019. She began her career at Vail Health Hospital, serving as both a dietitian and a clinical nutrition manager. After returning to Bozeman, Kaitlyn joined Montana State University Student Health Services, where she focused on supporting college-aged individuals with eating disorders and gastrointestinal issues. During this time, she also earned her Master’s degree in dietetics.
