Virtual and In-person Outpatient Eating Disorder Treatment
Outpatient Nutrition Therapy for Children, Adolescents, and Adults
With us, patients can receive consistent nutrition support while continuing daily life, work, school, and family responsibilities.
What Is Outpatient Eating Disorder Nutrition Therapy?
Outpatient nutrition therapy for eating disorders is appropriate for individuals who are medically stable and able to engage in treatment through regularly scheduled appointments. Care focuses on restoring adequate nutrition, reducing eating disorder behaviors, and improving your relationship with food in a structured, supportive way.
Nutrition therapy is a key part of eating disorder recovery and works best alongside therapy and medical care. We can support coordination with your existing care team or help connect you with our trusted partners.

Our Approach
Our approach balances structure with compassion. We pay attention to what you need to move forward, recognizing when nutrition therapy should be more clinically guided and when it needs to be gentle and flexible. Care is individualized, collaborative, and coordinated with therapists, physicians, and other providers, with attention to readiness, past experiences, and the realities of daily life. Treatment may include individual sessions and meal support groups that offer a structured space to practice eating between appointments.
A Supportive First Step, Not an Intimidating One
Reaching out for eating disorder support can feel overwhelming. Many individuals and families are unsure what level of care is needed or worry about being pushed into treatment that feels too intense or premature.
Northern Nutrition Group provides a supportive, non-intimidating space to assess nutrition needs and determine the most appropriate level of care. Our goal is not to force a specific path, but to help you understand what type of support is needed right now.
We collaborate with multiple levels of eating disorder care, including intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, residential and inpatient treatment. When outpatient nutrition therapy is appropriate, we provide ongoing care. When a higher level of care is needed, we assist with referrals, coordination, and next steps.
You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. We help guide the process with clarity, respect, and clinical judgment.
